Corrections Policy

We take accuracy seriously and are committed to correcting errors promptly and transparently.

Our Commitment

While we strive for accuracy in all our reporting, we acknowledge that errors can occur. When they do, we correct them quickly and transparently. We believe that admitting and correcting mistakes strengthens trust with our readers.

How We Handle Corrections

  • Minor corrections: Typos, formatting issues, and minor factual errors are corrected immediately without a correction notice.
  • Significant corrections: Material errors that could affect reader understanding are corrected with a clear correction notice at the top or bottom of the article, including the date and nature of the correction.
  • Major corrections: Errors that significantly impact the story's meaning result in a prominent correction notice and may warrant a follow-up article.

Updates vs. Corrections

We distinguish between corrections and updates:

  • Corrections: Fix factual errors in the original reporting
  • Updates: Add new information to developing stories

Both are clearly labeled with timestamps to maintain transparency about when changes were made.

Report an Error

If you believe you've found an error in our reporting, please let us know:

  • Email: [email protected]
  • Include the article URL and a description of the error
  • We review all error reports and respond within 24-48 hours
